Farm Accounting & Safety Compliance Manager

This full-time position is a combination of human resources, record keeping, bookkeeping and safety compliance.
The position requires both office and outdoor work.
Applicants must be detail-oriented, self-motivated & comfortable working with numbers and computers.
Wage starts at $25 per hour.
Health insurance is provided.
Two-weeks paid vacation.

Employee payrollAccounts payableBudgets & expense reportsPrepare books for tax accountantTomato harvest record keepingHuman Resources The farm's Safety & Regulatory Officer is responsible for:
Overseeing the farm's safety program, plans and protocols;Staying current with county, state and federal regulatory requirements and writing new regulatory measures as required;Keeping track of, scheduling & documenting all required employee safety trainings;Handling all employee accidents/injuries, filing Worker's Compensation claims and subsequent investigations, including Cal/OSHA serious violations if required;Posting required CA and federal employee notices;Conducting & documenting on-site safety inspections and evaluations; Education/

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
